Oh man that place Rat's was really really delicious!
The whole place was themed after "The Wind and the Willow" Place was called Rat's, we ate in Toad Hall. Monsuir Rat was pointing toward Rat's drive way. Even before I got to taste anything I already thought the place was awesome! My grandfather booked us in a special room, the wine tasting room. There was just walls of temperature controled compartments full of wine.
Now to the good part... the fooooooood! I at myself silly! Everything was exceptional. Also they gave us champaigne and momossa(spelling?). Then they come out with their finest vodka... I believe it was Belvedere... heck I buy that stuff on a regular basis.
Then they finished it off with some sambucca when the birthday girl(my grandmother) was ready for her dessert. Oh and the dessert was... was... Heck there are no words to describe how good it was!
After Brunch we went through the sculpture gardens. Very awesome looking stuff. Also they had wild peacocks running around. We ran into a male one, and spread its feathers. Gorgous!
Lets say everything was fantastic.
Oh and on Saturday the day before I went up to New Brunswick to see a band I thought was defunct... Shades Apart, and they played with Vision. It was fun, Shades Apart played some old ones and also the cover I wanted to see them play... Tainted Love. I think I have seen that band at least 15-20 times(when I was up at Monmouth they played almost every weekend at the same place). Oh and Vision was also very good.
This weekend rocked!
