Well my 4 day weekend was quite fun!
Friday night I went to south philly to see a punk/hardcore show... a very fun show!
Cheap Tragedies played and they were a shit ton of fun, but there wasn't nearly enough blood! But there was a lot of moshing, bench dives and wrestle moves(since the singer used to be a wrestler!). Also the very scary industrial chain being swung around in a very small, over packed space!
Brain Handle from pittsburgh was pretty good, they had a lot of fun songs but also had a mix of boring ones also.
Wasted Time was the best band of the night... very fast, and tons of fun. Richmond has put out another great band that will possibly put a dent in the hardcore community! I recomend going to see them if they come to your area!
Direct Control had a pretty short set due to cops coming around and time constraints. They were fun none the less, lots of dancing around, beer being thrown around and lots of drunkness since the venue seconds as a sorta bar!
The next night I drove up to Poughkeepsie, NY to see my friend from highschool who I haven;t seen in a while! It was a fun weekend but found out that Poughkeepsie really isnt that much fun. I was let down by the lack of record stores... I FOUND NONE!!!
It made me sad, but we had fun times none the less drinking and playing pool and hanging out with his funny friends! He better come down here next time! 
Oh for all you philly people Black Mountain will be playing at Johnny Brendas Wednesday night! They are amazing!
