this weekend has been a hell of a weekend... even if it ended in sickness!
Thursday I went to Lancaster to see The Hold Steady. I know it is a long drive but I was with 2 awesome dudes listening to awesome music. Well we get to the Chameleon club, and hoping the first two bands(or even one of the bands). Well the first band was about to go on, and My friend who wasn't driving and I decide to take advantage of the horrible bands and decide to drink! We drank lager until the hold steady came on, heck I even got a free beer from some girl who didn't want hers! Well the Hold Steady came on, and my friend and I push our drunk asses to the front with our other friend, and well let me tell you, the hold steady are one of the best live bands I have ever seen! Plus from what my friend who travels to see this band said they played a very weird set playing mostly old songs! Well they were excellent!
Well I get home at 3am that night and went to work! Man it was a rough day at work!
Saturday I went to philly to hang with friends and party!
Then the next day we went to Honeys(delicious!!!) and then off to the zoo. It was a lot of fun even if I started to get this horrible headache during it. Now I feel like crap and have I guess what is a flu. But the weekend ROCKED!

The Hold Steady are such a good band. Boys and Girls in America is solid. I've got tickets to see the Melvins and Big Business at Islington Academy in London on 05/02. Should be good.
