This past weekend was quite fun!
Friday was spent hangin out in philly with my friends from Temple U. We took the train over to the Vine st stop and walked over to chinatown! We ate at Ho Sai Gai(delicious if I say so myself!)! I got the sweet and sour chicken and shrimp. Great price for huge huge portions. After that we got to go gold digging for great priced music and movies at Tower records since they are going out of business and everything is 40-60% off. I got two movies-Momento Mori and The Tale of Two Sisters(both Japanese) and I picked up the Lawrence Arms-Greatest Story ever told. All for a whopping 20 bucks!
Saturday I went to see horrorfest movies with my uncle. Well the times were all screwed up! It made us pretty pissed off. But we decided to see Borat again. Great movie! After that I went on a date... YES A DATE! I took the awesome girl out for sushi at a local favorite called YAMA. Then we went back to her house and chilled under the stars on her dock by the fire with some friends. twas a fun time!
Sunday was boring but at night it was Lifetime. They played with the Akas and the explosion. I was happy to see some good old friends there! Wow I was happy to see them. haven't seen them in forever. But the Lifetime set was good, but they didn't play some songs I liked like "Swamps of NJ"
All in all it was a fun weekend! What am I saying it was a great weekend! Can't wait for Thanksgiving, even if it is the celebration of the beginning of our persecution and slaughter of a great and friendly people. Well have a great week and enjoy some turkey and if you are a vegan or vegetarian... your tofurkey!
