I know it is late but this past weekend rocked!!!
This past weekend was a fun filled one with the lovely 1clementine We started it off with seeing the gossip/mates of state on friday.
The show started off with this guy who named himself Panther. He was a weird princish type of fellow with his cd player. Makin wierd noises and awesome dances!
Then Maria Taylor who is the girl from Azure Ray. They are really slow indie rock. not of my tastes, but they had connor oberst come out which was the crowd pleaser. He is "dreamy".
The gossip was amazing! Beth has the most amazing voice in punk rock! They were amazing and havin me move!
I didn't get to see mates of state but didn;'t really care, 1clementine knew Beth and we got into the band room with free beer and got to see Sean Agnew get the most hilarious hair cut. I got to meet beth and the drummer hannah who is an awesome person.
The next day we went up bright and early to Long Island to see jen's family. I got to meet nana and pappi! they were absolutely the nicest people I have come across in a long time. Pappi asked in his deep italian accent if I had to use the bathroom like 8 times. Nana made some killer eggs for us which were fantastic!!!
We went to the party for Jen's step grandpa and we followed rita who for having someone follow her drives with a heavy foot. I was struggling to keep up with her. but we got there no problems. I met some awesome new people. Jen's family was really a lot of fun. Plus the meal was really really good! I was stuffed at the end. Plus her step sisters and brother were awesome. We were the anti yankee fans at the kids table. I think her family liked me a lot. I was really diggin the whole experience. After that they fought about how to give me directions to the LIE I went on my way.
We end up at illstabyou's pad. Let me tell you his place was really really nice! Dan is a really good host, even if I did do a number on his toilet. I was plunging for like 15 minutes! Shit from hell! I have done it before but to a girl. hahaha Oh I also got to spend some time with my friend Pete who about 2 blocks away.
