I had planned to use some free passes I aquired to go see Spirited Away at Laurelhurst Theatre tonight. Alone. But my new neighbor Mobprod invited me to kick it at his house and watch it with a couple of beers. It was an awesome movie... I liked it better than Princess Mononoke... quite possibly because I saw Mononoke dubbed and Spirited subtitled... it's always better subtitled...
So... tell me kids... just how sad IS going to the movie theatre all alone? Do you play into the stigma? Do you feel like a lonely bastard with no friends or life? Heh, I do...

Heh. Like I said, I've got no problem going to the movies alone. I'm a movie person and I just love watching movies and I get a lot out of it, usually. Sometimes having someone there with me can even be distracting... depends on the flick. I wouldn't go see Maid in Manhattan alone. Nor would I go see it, period, but that's beside the point.
