I'm thinking of getting my own little place when I get my shit together... yes, that's right kids, I wanna move out of Le Casa Gordo de Swank and into a small studio in somewhere. Maybe in NW.
On my walk around the area around NW 23rd, I found a couple of cute buildings with some small studios for rent. Around the $450 mark. If I get the jobs I'm looking at right now and I have money left over from my settlement, I'll be able to afford one in a few short months.
Don't get me wrong, I love my apartment now, but it just takes one roommate to make things less desirable. It's nothing bad. We aren't at each others throats or anything. But I can't rule out the possibility of us coming to blows in the future. And I can't stand it when a roommate declares it "MY FUCKING HOUSE!!!"
It kind of makes me sad, thinking about moving out of my nice big apartment. No more big parties of 50 people, anymore. But at the same time I think I'll be happier in a small cozy apartment by myself. Maybe a kittie too.
Maybe I should get some plants for my room in the mean time. A hanging spider plant or something of the likes. Maybe a nice big fern to talk to. Ya know, like the one from Fraggle Rock.
Who wants to take me hiking in the forest the next nice weekend?

good luck on getting the one of the jobs...
Pros-it is your apartment, all yours, yours yours yours, none elses. what you say goes...eheheh
You can react to the voices in your head without scarng your roommates. Wait, who says cat's aren't roommates (runs in bedroom to tell cats to get a damn job). You can run around naked without scaring your roommates. You can watch what you want one tv and you don't have to wait to use the comp. or go to the bathroom. etc etc etc
Cons-get's lonely. ALL the bills are yours so you -can't- fuck up...ever...the voices in your head may actually grow stronger and take on the personality of inanimate bojects around you.
