Today I had a fun in the sun day with my mom. We bought a slip and slide and played on it well she tried and was having a hard time sliding. Me on the other hand I was covered in suntan oil so I would slide all the way down and then right off the damn thing.

spent a lot of yesterday wandering around the city shopping (mostly window shopping if i'm honest) and people-watching while eating ice cream - just one of those chilled out early summer afternoons where you completely relax. . it was lovely
so are good pancakes. i tend to just have a disaster everytime i try to make them, usually when it comes to flipping the damn things
