Took a neighbor to her work today since she doesn't have a car. She manages an apartment complex. Somehow I got talked into changing some lightbulbs on the sides of some of their buildings.
The lights are like one and a half to two stories up on the wall. And all they gave me was this flimsy ladder.
I must have been out of my mind.
I did one building's side by myself then practically demanded that someone hold the ladder steady while I'm up that far on the ladder. They asked me to do the lights because (duh) none of them wanted to do it.
I'm not afraid of heights; but I am afraid of falling when I don't have insurance.
Ain't doing that again.
