where the hell has it gone...
am i the last person alive who finds it worthwhile... or sees any point in it
its all well and good being filthy and everything personality wise that goes with that, thats great, believe me i love that too....
but i also like romance... i enjoy the stuff that makes people go ahhhhhhhhh, the stuff that rises a lump in your throat when you hear about it, the things that just make you feel good... i mean really good, the things that when you do them, makes someone feel worthwhile , makes them feel that they're important to you, makes them feel that it doesn't matter what the rest of the world think, because to you, they obviously mean so much... and to you, no one else in the world is as important
so many people on here posture... i don't care what people think, i don't need anyone else, fuck the world, i'm so tuff, it doesn't matter if you don't like me, it doesn't matter if you don't agree with me, i don't give a fuck if you don't like the way i am...
thats all well and good... and its important to feel comfortable with yourself and you shouldn't care what others think....
but...
its nice to know someone does like you for who and what you are... and you are more important to someone than anyone else in their lives...
therefor... as tough as you maybe, romance is important... as romance is the thing that makes you realise that one fact... romance is the thing that lets you know how much that person cares about you, romance is the selfless act or gesture that someone does that lets you know just how important you are... whatever romance is to you.... and it's in there, somewhere, no matter how tough and thick skinned you think you are...
romance is more important than a thousand words, a million words... as words are easy, people also use words to lie... and right at the back of your mind, although words are nice to hear, theres still the doubt, the small knowing it could be a lie...
but romance is an action that requires thought and effort when its not needed... and no matter how small, its that thought, outside of your presence to complete or arrange that act of romance... its that, that lets you know how important you are
so what the hell happened to it... and why do so many deny its importance... it makes me more than a little sad
