ok i was reading one of my friends journals today...

and she made a comment on there about the fact that people had told her she didnt belong on this site as she didnt get naked in her pictures....
to which i obviously chipped in my two pence worth (as any of you who knows me knows... i always do
)
anyway it got me thinking more about this actuall site, what it is and its strengths...
now most of what i'm putting here is in the reply to her comment...
the thing about the site... and what its well known for is its list of naked attractive alternative sexy females... but having become a memeber, i dont think its the strongest part of this ssite... not by a long way. its a great part and obviously an enjoyable part, but the strength of this site is definitely its community (for me at least anyway)
yes we all like looking at the girls, of course we do, but i value the friendship and communication of this site far more... i'm sure the percentage of non naked memebers out weighs the naked ones. this site has given a world wide community to those who are interested in the slightyly different side to life (and the extremely different) it also gives people who feel misunderstood because of their interests, the chance to talk and discuss with similar minded people, their problems, hang ups, enjoyments, quirks... all manner of things
it also gives a greater network around the world... for instance, i know in my area... unless yyou live here, you would never find the places that play metal... or anything that would described as alternative in anyway, unless you knew where you were going. so if you were to visit you would be stuck going somewhere you will be listening to crappy house music surrounded by drunk narrow minded idiots, dressed in shoes and shirts being generally abusive... where as you could ask me, on here andd i could point you in the right direction... maybe even buy you a beer...
and vice versa... i travel to LA a lot for work, usually having bugger all to do aas i know nobody and have no idea where to go.... you better believe the next time i go i'll be harrassing you lot to show me where to go and maybe buy me a beer
for me that is by far the most important thing of this site... if you compared the clientel list to those of many other sites with naked girls on them... the list would be a lot more predictable and not even close to being as diverse interesting or friendly as this one... plus it would also lack the open nature of the copmmunity on this site provided by the simplicity and ease of this site...
anyway i'm going on and you dont want to read my ramblings... it just upset me the narrow mindedness of the some people and what they see this site to be
yes the naked tattooed chicks are what hook people to visit, but i do not believe they are in anyway what cause people to stay
nice place to visit... absolutely an amazing place to stay
