I was just pondering how our language can't keep up with this whole internet thing. You can meet someone without meeting someone. There really isn't a way to describe the act without phrasing it in the physical sense. If there is a better way, please let me know. Sometimes sit back and try to imagine what society is going to be like in 25 years. Will there be people who never leave their house? Will screen names and avatars pass as identification in the real world? Will the English language be shortened to IM speak? I hope not.
On second thought, I'm going to shower and hit some golf balls.
