Living on Lake Ontario in the spring and in the summer is the most amazing thing. Beautiful sunsets, awesome waves on windy days, swimming, fishing, and everything else I love. But like you said, during the winter it's hell on earth. It's not even the snow although thats a huge part but the wind is crazy. We've had some really bad wind storms here where peoples roofs will be ripped off, I'll get thrown off my feet, it's insane

Since the blow-up, I've basically been avoiding my roommates, coz really, I'm still pissed, and I can tell they can't see that. So rather than go off again, I'm distancing myself... Probably not the best way to handle it...

please, i need something to make me smile - days have been pretty crappy this week and school hasnt even started again yet! tomorrow i get to shlep all the way to my docs office to see what the hell i did to my knee and what i have to do about it, and i cant use the treadmill or do leg exercises until the pain goes away do you have aim by the way? why do you want to quit your job? what would you do instead?

I hope it doesn't either. Rathger than stay in ahotel close to work tonight (they get us free hotel rooms when there's a storm) I think I'll make a run for it and try going home. There's no place like it Maybe if I say that three times and click my heels (don't tell anyone I'm wearing them...) I won't even have to drive!

Yes, next week will be the beginning of my hopefully healthier lifestyle. I found a gym whose membership for students is only $99 from now until June AND they have a ton of equipment. So I am going to join this weekend as long as the weather stays in my favor.

Man, this cold is insane! I'm on Lake Ontario and the wind chill is killing us more than just the cold. I was outside for 20 minutes earlier replacing one of my headlights and I pretty much lost all feeling in my toes.

Lets move somewhere warm!
