By grew up on country, I meant I heard it a lot when I was growing up, as in my mother always listened to it. I'm the only one in my family born and raised in the North. Everybody else is from the South and most still reside there. Once I heard Guns'N Roses though, it was all over for me. Country was put on the backburner from then on out

So why the best Valentine's ever? It has a lot to do with me accepting the day and going with it rather than trying to avoid it. And I had a really nice laid-back day during which I helped one of my roommates make an awesome card for her bf that's in jail (that's anotehr story). Then, that evening I went out with a bunch of my roommates for drinks at this really cool bar (we all dressed up. I wore a 3-piece suit) And as it always works... While at the bar, when I least expected it, I met a really cool girl and we're friends now. So in the words of Ice Cube... ..it was a good day

I know what you're saying about getting married, I meant just for today's culture I think the problem is getting married too early. Older generations getting married this early was normal and so they last, nowadays thats just not the case. I found out a few months ago that people who get married age 30+ last longer and are generally happier.

How bad is the snow there? We only have a half inch or an inch or so but it's really wet snow so it's basically like driving on pure ice right now. On my way home, I slid past my road (mind you I broke for it with PLENTY of time) and ended up having to reverse my ass along the nice busy road I was on. Everyone must love me

Living on Lake Ontario in the spring and in the summer is the most amazing thing. Beautiful sunsets, awesome waves on windy days, swimming, fishing, and everything else I love. But like you said, during the winter it's hell on earth. It's not even the snow although thats a huge part but the wind is crazy. We've had some really bad wind storms here where peoples roofs will be ripped off, I'll get thrown off my feet, it's insane

I hope it doesn't either. Rathger than stay in ahotel close to work tonight (they get us free hotel rooms when there's a storm) I think I'll make a run for it and try going home. There's no place like it Maybe if I say that three times and click my heels (don't tell anyone I'm wearing them...) I won't even have to drive!
