Busy weekend. Saw Van Helsing. It was....ok I guess. Better than League of Extrodinary Gentlemen, which I kept thinking of for some reason, but that's not saying much. Kate Beckinsale =
Hugh Jackman = stop playing hard guys who don't know their past, Wolvie is enough.
Dracula = something just not right about him, can't explain it, didn't like him
Ok, too much time spent on that movie. I also rented Malena with the lovely Monica Bellucci and Zero Effect (Bill Pullman, Ben Stiller), both were enjoyable. Saturday after work I went and saw the first gig of a friend of a friend's band. They were ok, basically rap rock. Unfortunately their manager found out I work at a radio station, so he came over and sucked up. Couldn't say, "I work in the business office, go away!!!" So was just like yeah, I'll passt the cd along. Feel weird about it, cause I don't think they're good enough to fully say, yeah they're good to the radio people, and I don't want to be seen as some sort of in for the band, they got to work their own shit ya know? Whatever. Sunday was of course full of love towards my Mom and Grandmoms. And such was my weekend. Rather full. Wooooo
And spread the word!!! Tomorrow is the release of the first official Invader Zim DVD. But more importantly, the new album "The End of Heartache" by Killswitch Engage comes out!!!!!!!!! Go by one!!!!! or two!!!!! or three!!!!!! It's amazing, yes I heard it, and will buy more than one copy. KSE \m/
