It was an incredibly nice day out today!!! So glad after the pretty cold winter we had. But of course my day was spent in work looking at spreadsheets, yaaaaay! Oh well, took a brief walk to get lunch, that helped a little bit. My weekend was pretty uneventful. Friday night I made good with the g/f after eating at a great Thai restaurant. Saturday was work. And Sunday I stayed home and did nothing. I helped around the house since my Mom has been a little sick. Gots to do my part.
So a pretty boring weekend by most standards. Although I don't plan to have a party weekend for quite some time. I think I'm giving up the alcohol for lent. I'm a Christeaster/special occasion Catholic, and feel after the guilt ridden drinking spree of last week I need to stay away from it for a bit. Not that I think I have a problem, not at all, I just want to do this for myself. And since it is getting nicer, hopefully I can get motivated to do all the stuff I really want to do but never do. Like go (back) to the gym, take a cooking class, and learn the guitar. There, said I would do it...now just do go do it, that't that hard part.
