So, 2007 is almost at an end! It's crazy how time whizzes by as you get older. I still remember being at school and kicking myself for writing '1997' at the top of the page instead of '1998' when returning back to school after xmas. Or the big count down to the year 2000 and wondering whether the entire world would be set back 50 years if all IT equipment broke down as their internal clocks screwed up as they clicked from 1999 to 2000.

So life continues to improve. 2006 was great, 2007 has been better!!

As always, friends were made, friends were lost, but those that stuck around are diamonds. However I my own part I plan to make more effort this year to be there for people. Not as drinking buddies but as someone to talk to etc I need to pick up the phone more!

At the start of the year I was pretty darn depressed. I was single, living alone and far from friends and family. To top that off I had grown to really dislike my job. I didn't have enough work to do, what I was doing was boring plus it wasn't what I took on the job for. My job wasn't even secure, it was a secondment. A colleague advised me to apply for other jobs to push them to make my role permanent, so I did. And funnily enough I was offered a job back in maintenance which was more appealing than the job I was in, so I took it!
I'm now back in maintenance, looking after a track-transit system at one of the most exciting airports in the world.

So in brief, had fun in Amsterdam for possibly the last time, Frankie tattooed my chest piece, had the most amazing trip to Australia, did my first video blog, got chatting to Christina through SG, turned vegetarian, got denied entry to America trying to visit Christina, Dawnii tattooed my 'Mum & Dad' tattoo, Christina came to the UK to see me plus again for xmas.
