So Saturday I took the train up to Leeds for another weekend of drunken antics and I had a nice time however I seem to have gone down hill again, health wise! Despite a second prescription of antibiotics last week, my cough was back with a vengance Saturday morning on the train up. I had a good time at a Wetherspoons and at the Elbow Rooms (which included playing table tennis!) however by the time we headed for Fab I had a splitting headache which I can only imagine is what people refer to as a Migraine. I ended up going back to my hotel room at 11pm and spent the entire night shivering, yet sweat pouring off me.
I felt better Sunday morning although by the evening I couldn't gulp without being in pain, something which continued today although today I had the added bonus of not being able to turn my head without pain also!

I'm getting old. I rang my GP and the x-ray I had last week was in, declared normal. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

So elsewhere, went to The Kooks gig last week. It's the first gig I've ever been to where I've felt old. There were so many... kids... there! Still it was a really good gig for a group with just one album. They played just a couple of songs not on the album which was good, I hate it when bands play too much new stuff. The encore consisted of an accoustic version of Jackie Big Tits and then a closer smile
Supporting them was one band whose name I didn't get but were pretty good, plus The Holloways. They have a single out right now for 'Generator', quite a catchy tune!

In Leeds I bought...

The Holloways - Generator (single)
The Raconteurs - Broken Boy Soldiers
Feeder - Comfort In Sound
Feeder - Pushing The Senses
Feeder - Echo Park
At The Drive-In - In/Casino/Out
At The Drive-In - Acrobatic Tenement

There are some fab bargains about. For instance the Feeder albums were 5 each. There also seems to be a lot of double albums out, such as the At The Drive-In albums which came as a pair for 6.99. I also spotted the two Kings of Leon albums for the same price. shocked

Saw 3 comes out on Friday! Might go see it at the cinema this weekend if I'm feeling brave enough! Ha ha no not that the film will be scary but the fact I get cinema rage at people talking and kicking chairs! Rawrrrrrrrrr! mad tongue

If anyone fancies talking to me on MSN messenger, I'm on ianstenning@hotmail.comcsmile

And I can't believe I've only just recently started watching Extras. I think I actually like it more than The Office.

So this week I'm hoping to get my lobes pierced, I'm off to Bath to see Zoe, hopefully Cardiff too. The weekend after I'm seeing Ross Noble biggrin

I was watching a Miro Painting on eBay until it went for over three grand! whatever

Riddle

There are two words that end with -gry.
Angry is one and hungry is another.
What is the third word.
Everyone uses it every day and
Everyone knows what it means.
If you have been listening,
I have already told you what the word is.

Question.... a siamese twin commits a crime which is punishable by time in prison.... yet the other twin tried to prevent the crime from taking place. Do you lock them both up.... or let them go free?!?! shocked
