Things are a bit better as of this evening. Thanks to those who had kind words to say

I spoke to Heather on the phone today. I've been such a prat and I fear that I've done too much damage for her to ever trust me again but at least I came to my senses and realised how much was at stake. Hopefully over time she'll forgive me.

Today my dad came up and did more decorating. I owe him so much, but a bottle of Bell's whisky is all I could muster up.

Jackie came round this afternoon and her and Zoe did girlie stuff.

On the way back from dropping Jackie off home, we drove past what I thought was a group of turtles wandering down the road, Zoe thought they were little hairy animals. So anyway, I slowed and did a 3 point turn to check them out.

Turns out they were actually just horse droppings in the road!
