Drove up to Zoe's Parent's place on Friday after work. We picked up a curry on the way, I really have to push the boat out a bit and try something else other than Chicken Tikka Masala with Mushroom Rice! I'm too predictable!
Saturday we went into Bury St. Edmund, to do some xmas shopping however I just ended up buying stuff for the house or myself!
Saturday night we went into town instead of going to Alternation in Cambridge due to a change in the number of people going. Still we had fun, despite the music being shite. The DJ, a.k.a. the young guy playing the weirdest mix of songs ever and who wasn't chopping and changing rather than mixing, fob us all off all night despite us trying to request something almost resembling rock!
It was funny how many old people were there, some on their own. I should be used to it by now, I mention it everytime I go there. We comandeered a table for the night although as we got up and danced three women sat at the end of it. They were really miserable looking and hardly spoke to each other, just sat there looking around. Then for a period one kept turning round and laughing, more at us than with us but Zoe quickly put an end to that! Haha
Anyway the Birthday girl got absolutely plastered until she resembled a zombie, just stood there swaying and hardly able to talk!
Today we sat around during a 2-3 hour power cut and eventually made it home.
We can see the oil refinery smoke from our house.
We're watching Battle Royale now.
