i have no idea how all of you knew something happened to me but thank you!!!

Yes i had a brain anurysm and sn avm.. then a series of three brain surgerys.

i am doing fabulous. I got my voice back a few days agi. so im super happy about that. im now able to have liquid again which is exciting.

please excuse my poor typing. i lost a lot of my vision due to the avm.

one side of my head is shaved but im totally rockin it

Holy shit dude! That is crazy. It happened to my best friend's mom last summer(ish). Lucky you survived! Do they know what caused it? One common cause of strokes and aneurysms in the young is taking birth control & smoking cigarettes. They don't know why, but it happened to one of my students 2 years ago. She had a stroke, she is mostly recovered but markedly impaired compared to the first time I met her (about a year earlier than when she took my "Intro. to Environmental Science Methods" course). Methamphetamine consumption and liquor can also do it. Whatever the cause of yours was,

I do mathematical biology, by the way, but we work with lots of doctors doing mathematical modeling of various medical scenarios.
