I went to Sequoia national park today and it was beautiful and amazing there. The weather was great and I saw a bear eating in a meadow, a cub on a tree stump, and a deer grazing. I went with my buddies and it was a great trip.

You're right..it is nice to see other Fresnecks here. You are one of only a few that I've come across. From Fresno? I'm actually from Sacramento, but I've lived here the past 7 years or so. I like it here. I like that people rag on Fresno because those that believe the hype won't ever move here which makes it better for those living here 
There's so much to be had here in the central valley and the surrounding areas...people just love to accentuate the negative. I love that we are central to everything with mountains and lakes right in our backyard. The coast is only a short drive westward and the cost of living is affordable. Fresno...CA's best kept secret...shhhhh!
