It’s been a while since I last wrote a blog.
The truth is that lately life has been moving faster than me, and stopping to write a few lines always felt like the last thing on my list.
Over the past few months, pretty much everything has changed.
After my grandfather’s accident — and thankfully he’s doing great now — I finally found the space to finish a project I had been thinking about for a long time: moving to Tuscany.
Now I’m in my new home.
A garden, a different kind of air, and the sea just a fifteen-minute walk away. Living close to the water has always been a dream of mine, and now it’s real. It’s one of those things that doesn’t make noise, but quietly puts you back together.
I also got to spend an entire month with my best friend, something we’d never been able to do before because of the distance. We’ve known each other since 2017 thanks to SuicideGirls, when she was a hopeful (and yes, I keep asking her when she’ll let me shoot a new set of her). SG has been, and still is, much more than just a website to me.
In a week, a new set of mine will be released.
I can’t wait, even though I have to be honest: the numbers from my last sets haven’t really given me much motivation to create new ones. It’s a thought I carry with me — no drama, but without pretending it doesn’t exist.
For now, I’m enjoying this moment.
New home, new routines, lots of doubts — but with the sea nearby.
