Second day on the road. Yesterday was my first time on stage with TKK, we were in Phoenix. I was really surprised by how hot it was up there.
We arrived at the venue at 5pm, we checked the sound ( I wasnt able to hear as well in the monitorsand I got afraid by that), after we left to get ready for the show.
I was very embarrassed and at the same time excited for the first show.
The show was amazing, I did some mistakes in the lyrics but it seemed that nobody noticed! The sound engineer listened to my voice in my channel during the show and he told me I had a cute and fun accent! Of course, Im Italian!
After the show people went to ask me for pictures, someone told me they saw me perform with TKK about 7 years ago probably they were very drunk at that time, or I really look like another of the Bomb Gang Girls! Thats amazing!
After the show we drove through Arizona, and we arrived close to the Grand Canyon area, in which we stopped for the night.
In the morning again on the road, and we drove across the desert, I saw sand storms and some Native Indian reservations and museums.
Due to schedule time we did not stop. The desert kept my attention! I saw meteorite shops in the middle of nothing, and areas good for alien landings. Im able to see very far away and clearly. The horizon line is far. Its a sort of Nievsky perspective. The desert makes me feel very quiet at this moment and at the same time I feel those lands familiar, I dont know why. The skys view is amazing, clouds and sun at the same time. This flatland relaxes me a lot.
I hear now that tonights show its sold out. Im still scared, but very happy to have this great experience. Thank you TKK!
