the desire to be a politician still exist for me... but several problems come in to play... one, I don't know of any politicians covered in tattoos, two... if I was on the House floor listening to some of these people talk, I'd have to stand up and say "what the fuck??"
I had similar thoughts about what you said for the homeless... there's enough abandoned buildings in most major cities... my thoughts always surrounded the idea of offering places to live in conjunction with city beautification... i.e., you get an albeit humble place to live, and in exchange you do something for the betterment of the city. It works well in some middle eastern countries where they continously fund government projects in the cities to keep unemployment down.
I've moved on from dreaming to reading and writing and doing what little stuff I can in the activist community here.

there was a post secret last week, the person wrote that they worked for a non-profit organization and was paid 150,000 a year.
and although it's not necessary for me to state it, it was definitely another one of those post secret gut wrenching moments...
as for burroughs.. teh hero. but ye know that.
the drugs, a welcome addition to the output of the greatest voice of the american century.

the best part about 99% of the men ive met is that all you have to do is go out and find another to replace them.
