Decent day at work today... only put in like 8 hours for once. Nice to get off early every now and then.

Finished a book called "Druids" by Morgan Llewellyn. Very, very good read.... combines accurate history with a really good "fantasy" story and really pulls you into the happenings of the characters. Highly recommended.

Anyways, my friends Kyle & Christi had their baby a couple of days ago, too, so now I have a lil'one nearby to play with and I might get the chance to go home and see my godson and participate in his welcoming ritual, which would be wondrous. Here's to hoping...

All the new life surrounding me's giving me much hope and good wishes for the future... new beginnings all around - the random inspiration for my 4th tat (the rune "Dagaz", or new beginnings), the wee ones being born, the amazing CelticBootGirl doin' a set with a good camera and looking amazing (thanks emo )... gives me hope for the new phase in my life starting after this next patrol when my love moves down here and we start a real relationship together, under the same roof. Who knows... perhaps the Fates have woven for me a good and loving home to return to after spending so much of the year underwater, cut off from everything. That'd be nice...

Anyways, anyways... hope all's doin' well, keep takin' pictures to remind yourself of the good times and to share with others, and for your own sake's, remember the Kharma's a bigger bitch than anyone you know - don't do something you can't handle 3 times worse back at ya. Later.
