Being a tattoo artist in the winter is depressing...It's so damn sloooooooooooooooow. On a more positive note I just landed a freelance job doing a website for a company for 4,000 bucks. Yay me : )

Life is looking up. While I am down to just a day or two at the shop I was working at, I was offered a position in another shop where the people are extremely cool. Well, I'm not completely unemployed. The shop is gonna let me keep a day or two a week. Yay me. Hehe...I also have another shop in MA that I may be working at a few days a week. I hate being a tattoo artist once the summer is over. Argh, Stress.

Well, the busy season at the tattoo shop I work at is coming to an end so I'm gonna have to start promoting myself soon. If anyone in the RI/MA area is looking for a deal on some tattoo work, send me a message. I'll hook ya up. smile

Hey hey Stewd. You're in Connecticut? I'm currently working at The Edge Tattoo in Pawtucket...Pretty much right off 95 when you cross the Mass border. You basically cross the Mass border and take an exit that loops back into RI. Hehe...Gotta love New England Highways, eh? I may not have a job there after this week though. : ( Before I started working there a couple months ago there were 4 artists. So I was 5...And was just gonna be part time. A month after hiring me they brought on ANOTHER artist who the manager met through me. So that made 6. Well, the summer rush is now over and it just DIED. I was told today that myself and the other new artist had to be let go just because there isn't enough business and the other artists have all been there 1 year +. Man, life just throws you shit sometimes. The good thing is that the manager told me that he was gonna talk to the owner (Who I have never met) and try to make it so I at least get a couple days a week. The other artist is definitely gone though. I'm not sure if the manager putting in a good word for me will do much, but I'm hoping so. Even if not, I'll be able to do appointment work from the shop...Which is something good if the situation is as shitty as it appears. As far as doing an SG tattoo...I'd totally be down for that. Fun stuffs. smile
