Some friends and I are in the process of making a game. Our idea is a top down dungeon crawler of a post apoc/steampunk world where the things you kill arent... orcs, goblins, elves etc.. but nuclear altered indigenous creatures. Were using the UDK editor to do this and learning as we go.. but its a fun project and we are all starting at " We dont know shit about how to do this" but in the last couple weeks its been learning at the pace of leaps and bounds so I am really excited to see what this will turn into.
Just sketched a new creature for my "post apoc/steampunk world" called Gorb. This not so little guy has a body of an ape and armor plating that resemble pieces of downed aircraft.... I am still trying to figure out to get my sketches on the comp without losing the quality of the sketch.
But this world.. since this is the first time Ive talked about it on anything other than CGsociety.org is a Post Apoc nuclear fallout type world that also merges with steampunk to create impossible technology, and Victorian style using only salvage from a ruined world. This world is called Ordin with all the "town" names following the scheme, such as a town lovingly called "Construction Zone." We are really trying to stay away from confining the creature and people in it to following just that scheme although that is proving pretty tough.
