okay, it's a big goal to actually write an interesting journal. read at your own risk to time poorly spent.

the other day ,at the ol' grinding block, a friend of mine was in a pretty edgy mood while we were having coffee. i should have seen the rockets coming, but the work-coffee-brain-daze seeps in like a fog. anywho. i set him off with a careless, yet innocent, comment. the drama had many avenues. i looked him straight in the face and asked really nicely if he was okay. he was totally disarmed. i suddenly flashed back to TEFL school in Ireland. The instructor winked and said she'd gotten so many boys to cry simply by asking if they were okay in just the right moment.

the crying thing is something that baffles me about guys. my two closest guy friends probably haven't cried in 20 years. i can wear my heart on my sleeve, but overall am a tough cookie, and i cry at the drop of a hat sometimes. is it just the guys i know, or are loads of men this dried up. what's the big deal about crying. sometimes tears stream down my face when i have a good orgasam. tears are for all occasions, are they not?
