Saturday, Wedding for cousin.
Ceremony was very nice. I was spared the "sit, stand, kneel, beg for salvation" regiment of church services because they needed someone to work the videocamera. I was much pleased with the task ^-^
Only two problems during the entire day. The maid of honour got way too drunk and made a fool of herself. Snuck in a mickey and nearly got the bar closed on us. The priest at the ceremony also decided to slip in some gay bashing before the signing of the documents. "Now... thanks to mr martin's liberals we no longer have the husband and the wife, we have the applicant and the co-applicant, so I'd like to present our applicant and co-applicant" statements to the sanctity of marrige were also made but I am unable to remember the specifics. Needless to say I stopped videotaping for those statements. They had no place and he had no right to say such things, asshole.
Reception was fun eventually. I don't adjust to large crowds all that quickly, there were a lot of people present. The food was excellent, some chicken that was marinating in awesome and a roast beef as large as a 20 inch tv MEAT! (apparently the beef was moo-ing the day before the wedding)
The music was not ideal, no delusions that it would be. I danced a bit something I'm apparently good at according to the compliments I recieved (who knew?)
Life returns to a normal state for the next few weeks at least, no massive family events on the radar. Karaoke tonight I hope to have fun.
Edit-add Karaoke was fun, Sang Desert Rose, must learn meself more songs.
