... i'm going to go die now. not only did i not get to go to the wilco show tonight in d.c., but the webcast of the show only worked for like 3 or 4 songs. so as i get on sg i see that there is a braid show on the events list, and i'm like what the fuck? braid broke up... ahh, but little did i know, they are doing a reunion tour, and even more little did i know, they also played in d.c. tonight. i guess it's not so bad, i've seen both of these bands, wilco would have been cool at the 9:30 club because it's way smaller than the last place i saw them, but the 2 times i saw braid they played in a little place that is about the size of my house, with no stage and i was standing right in front of the band, but goddamn it would have been nice to catch at least one of the shows. but the torture doesn't stop there, braid will be playing in vancouver right after i move there, but i will be 8 hours outside of vancouver for a wedding. oh well, life goes on. p.s. if anyone between pennsylvania and washington state wants to put me and asvetic up for a night during our trek to canada, let me know, we are housetrained, won't drink all of your booze unless it is previously offered to us, and we are really cool, the coolest even...
