... went to a party last night, it was kind of fun. i didn't really know that many people, so i felt kind of out of place, i need to get over this social anxiety that i obviously have. this really cute girl from the jersey shore started talking to me, just me, not anyone else, i talked to her, but i felt like everything i tried to say just got stuck in my throat and came out sounding ridiculous. but she talked to me more, so maybe it wasn't so bad...

Yeah, it sucks meeting new people! Have you ever tried to go to a party completely alone? No one at all to fall back on? I have a buddy who does it all the time. If he is at school and gets an invite through a friend of a friend, he'll just show up alone and start a conversation!?!
