My parents have finally come to the conclusion that it would be nice to fly me home for Memorial Day.
Okay, let me explain.
My parents and their friends, at their houses at the beach, they have these HUGE beach parties. Every year. Memorial Day, it rings in the summer.
I understand why their minds might have paged over their daughter who's stuck alone in NYC (okay by choice) without Memorial Day weekend plans. Damn them for spoiling me so.
HOWEVER, if they does happen. I would fly out on Friday evening, after work, Now see, this poses a problem. I know this guy and his birthday is on Friday. Now, he doesn't know it yet (but he soon will) that I had something in mind for his birthday... it included a treasure map... and presents.
So yeah. It was just a concept anyway, I wasn't even expecting to see him on his birthday. It was sort of an eventuality planning thing. I like to be prepared for spontaneity sometimes. Especially for important things.
Well, I'm out.
