I had an out of body dream last night.
I was watching myself dream when I noticed a tear start to form in the corner of my sleeping eye. I froze in fear for some reason, as I watched the tear gently make its way down my cheek. I wanted so badly to reach out and wipe it away before it hit the pillow or my comforter, but I was unable to move.
My conscious self took a deep breath of air as the tear hit the comforter. As soon as it did, my linens liquified, and I was submerged in a wave of water. I felt myself pulled under, I was drowning in my bed. Then I felt a tug, and I landed gasping for air in a desert. When my eyes opened I was with Chris.

I have a long day ahead of me, I'd best be off to face it.
