SO, being as big a geek as I am I was listening to NPR and heard this guy talking about emergence which is baisically the phenomenon of how a bunch of random stupid individual things can all come togeether without any external driving force and organize themselves into one giant intelligent whole. Best examples: ants and neurons. without a driving source ants run helter skelter but when there is food, they organize themselves into neat little lines and work efficiently. amazing. so anyway I ordered this:

It's not exactly like that, it's an odd dichotamy. I am deep in love, but pieces of my old love, my old feeling linger. Rememberence is a funny thing, a year ago if I thought about my life, this is never what I imagined. When you say you killed a part of yourself, I don't quite understand, you change, life changes, but parts of yourself are always intact, they just get move, rearranged, put behind the current, but if that was you, it still is.
