right now... i am at a loss for words. i have a newfound renewed faith in mankind and the innocense of children.
my wallet (my favorite wallet that had dork in typewriter print on it) mysteriously dissappeared back in july. july 4th to be exact. my friends and i searched frantically and to no avail. i had to get all my credit cards shut off and new ones sent, i had to pay for a new liscense, i didn't have my healthcare card nor perscription card since july so i never went to the doctor when i became ill. The wallet also had money in it.
i figured i'd never see the wallet again and choked it up to par that i should learn my lesson from the events of that weekend. and quite a few of you know what i'm talking about!
after a couple long days (between the driving around baltimore and the show on christmas day, going to the hustler club last night, staying up all night and watching movies to driving all around today) i thought i should finally get some sleep when i arrived at home.
i was downstairs telling my grandfather to wake me up around 9 pm when the house phone rings. of course being a pessimist such as myself, my grandfather assumed that my sister had already somehow gotten into an accident on the way to work. instead, i answered the phone and it was for me.
it was a waitress from the South York Diner calling to say they had found my wallet. ok let's count today is dec. 27th. my wallet went missing july 4th. that's almost 6 months my wallet has been missing.
it was found in a booth in the diner by a beautiful 5 year old girl (ya know the traditional cutesy blonde hair blue eyes jon benet type) but that's besides the point.
i immediately drive up to the diner since it's close to my house and retrieve the wallet. EVERYTHING is still in there. down to receipts from the bank and other such places.
the family that found my wallet was leaving. they tried to refuse, but i gave the little girl 10 dollars to get a toy. god damn man. i'm on this natural high (and sleep deprevation) right now.

Wierd, I lost my wallet around the same time, but I never found it. I drove around without a licence for like 4 months before I finally got a new one. I think I just lost riding my dirtbike. But congrats on the hospitality of mankind, it doesnt happen often. And thanks for the birthday wishes.
