How did it end up going? I was terrified when I got mine out, but it didn't end up being so bad. I woke up right at the end when they were sewing my gums up, but I was still numb and a little goofy. I remember thinking that the disembodied hand that kept getting bigger and smaller as it came towards my face was the most facinating thing ever. As long as you're really good about not eating solid foods, and you keep on any meds they give you for at least the whole first day, you should be fine...
