starkofdoom

So I caught Cloverfield at midnight last thursday and while I think it was pretty well overhyped it really was a good movie. I don't know if I would call it a breath of fresh air but it was a nice change. I actually enjoyed the characters and the story that was put forth, some of my friends were caught up by the frustration of not ever getting enough background information regarding the creature and such but I was more then happy since the monster wasn't the main character of the movie. Overall I would say it was pretty damn good.
