speaking of the world, yeah... gamelan rules! i feel especially lucky b/c i play in a group that does not only traditional balinese music but also contemporary stuff written for us by balinese and american composers... check us out @ galaktika.org
we're actually going to bali this summer to play at a festival! i can't wait.
hey, bridge to terabithia was one of my most favorite books as a kid... first fiction that actually kicked the shit out of me and made me feel (so much kids lit is garbage). i should really read it again. does it hold up?
still figuring out the whole sg thing... not sure i belong here, but it sure helps having a few kind souls to talk to!
