Nice - Alexander Technique!!! I'm terribly jealous at your taking lessons! I had access to free lessons at my ol' music school... It was frequented by all of us carpal tunnel & tendonitis gimps. Lots of rolling on the ground, lots of examining how we hold, sit, position, pitch, strap-on & actually play our instruments. I'm happy to say I've been able to retain a lot of the performance aspects, really not much else. PS - Happy to hear of your very fun time! hey! alexander technique!!! I'm jealous too- I also had some lessons incollege, cause I studied dance. I love that internal body awareness- fine degree of awareness whatever. sooo coool!

man I was only in portland once, but it seemed really cool. I stayed with my aunt outside of seattle in the summer of 1997 and went to u. washington summer school. I really dug seattle, which I saw a lot more of- 3 months- but portland was really nice when we drovw over there for the afternoon.

I thought it was so great in seattle that they had those bike racks on the buses- cool idea.

that's the extent of my northwest experience-- other than that I'm a lifelong north easter, travels excepted.
