Last week's blog homework was a fun one but I missed it, so it's a little late.
In this day and age, it's hard to imagine not communicating electronically. Phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, some people even still have pagers. One key part of electronic communication, it seems (aside from abbreviations and poor grammar/spelling), is the emoji.
What started off as :) and =] is now 😄😃😀😊☺️. :p is now 😜😝😛. <3 is ❤️💛💚💙💜💔💗💖💘💓💞💕. Well, you get the point. We've come a long way, and different emojis are constantly being thought of.

With an abundance of special characters available to us, you have to wonder, do we use them too much? Do a google search for "emoji convo." Did the intelligent part of your brain quiver and make you want to weep? Let's ask ourselves. How many is "too many?" When do we cross the line of appropriateness?
