got back from the lake and i told my dad about my apprenticeship and he didn't get angry!!!!!!

and i got tattooed today by the wonderful ben alvarez - just the outline of my left sleeve - but it looks great and i feel good about it. tattooing is good therapy for me sometimes. expensive, but good. and now i'm negative in bankaccount and have no $$ for the rest of the month but it was worth it. i promise to post pics as soon as i can find someone to take them an a little sore but am very peaceful now.

brian came over this morning at 1:30 when i got home from the lake and we talked for a looooong time about our reltionship and our lives. it was a difficult discussion with many tears but i think we're going to weather this storm. he keeps saying that we shouldn't have to work this hard at a relationship but i think that all relationships take work, especially the good ones. he told me that it doesn't help that he's immature but he's not, most of the time. just every once in a while. things between us are going to be rough for a while - i know that, but i'm also pretty sure that our love is strong enough to survive this and anything. brian really is wonderful - he just needs some guidance and i need a lot of comfort and support.

speaking of good things - while down at the lake we went to an auction and i got a bunch of new records for $2 - some joni mitchell,. cat stevens, neil young, etc.

even though i've been emotionally walking a tightrope, the goodtimes have been good. can't ask for more. and i just got off the cell with brian and he's going to take some pics of my new tattoo tonight so yippee! everyone can see it. it's going to look amazing when it's done, but that's not going to be for quite a while seeing how my money situation just went from bad to worse.

i can't stop looking at my new tattoo - i just love it. but it's sucking up lotion like no other so i gotta go lube up now. photos coming soon . . . .
