Check it out yo. I made a collar because I got bored. It's something like 8oz red leather with 4oz black leather lining. With some old spikes I scragged from beater necklace I pick up at a thrift store. I hand sewed all the edging on with a lockstitching awl at 3/32" spacing. In other words... This thing looks sweet.

No, no. You want to call the cops for that. wink They're the ones who apprehend the suspect and gather the evidence. My job (whatever it may be) comes in a lot later.

I've only been to a couple of very small Ren Faires. They weren't particularly good experiences, more because of the people I was with than anything else. (It's hard to relax enough to have a good time when your "friends" are just repeatedly embarrassing to be around, and not in any kind of cool fun way either. whatever ) Someday I'd like to give 'em another try, but since I also live in bumfuck nowhere I don't know when that may be.

How'd you get into the hobby?
