Just once. Just once I thought we had had a conversation that both of us had actually understood eachother. I thought everything was clear. That I'd gotten it right, and she'd gotten it right and that we'd both fucking gotten it right. Then today I talked to her and everything seemed alright. Hell... it seemed downright back to normal. Then a mutual friend tells me that she's sorry to here that me and my SO are broken up. Excuse the fuck outta me? We did what? When did that happen? Oh? Last night at two o'clock huh? Update: No shit. This was all a result of the fact that we were both running on different definitions of what a long distance relationship implies. I'm not shitting you. We each defined what we want at this point, and she said what I thought we'd been trying for but it hadn't been what she was trying for so that's what caused the SNAFU. Now we're both back on the road to happy, and are working from the same instruction manual. Holy fuck my life is screwed up some days.
