It takes you 11 months every year to get around to my world, to live for a couple of weeks in my world.
All year you've complained about your life, about your car, about politics, about how you should've done things differently, about how everyone is fucking with you, about how everything was better in the old days.
and then one month, ONE month, you get into my world.. and you're thankful and happy and cheerful, and you hug, and you kiss, and you wrap a blanket around yourself and indulge in sweets and movies that make you feel fuzzy inside and indulge in telling me that no matter what happens deep down you've always loved me and been proud of me..
and then after that month is over, so is all your happiness and cheerfulness and love.. and I'm supposed to be thankful when you say how glad you are that it's Christmas?
Fuck you and your Hallmark-mentality. Enjoy life now, love the ones close to you now, don't wait all year to make me feel like I matter. Love me when I'm here.
