moved into my new place, got a little tiny room upstairs... could barely fit my bed, dresser, computer desk and entertainment center in the place, but did. It's been almost two weeks and I'm still maybe 2/3 unpacked. The room is a mess, but as long as I've got a path to walk, I'm good. The guys I'm living with are really laid-back. There's a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room, but rarely are two of us found in the same room. We just kind of do whatever cleaning strikes our fancy... fix our own meals whenever we want to eat, and clean up after ourselves. Usually, in the evenings, Aaron's downstairs shut in his room, listening to music and watching TV. Jason's usually downstairs in the common living room watching vh1 or the history channel, and I'm upstairs, watching movies or Animal Planet. I still haven't met the 3rd roommate, it'll be interesting to see if his presence switches up the atmosphere here. I'm having my second fitting for my bridesmaid's dress tomorrow. It had to be shortened considerably, and let out in the chest so I'd be able to breathe... the price I pay for being short and stacked, I guess. Then, it's off to my hometown for a weekend full of wedding activities... I'm almost dreading it because I know the bride's mom pretty well... and she'll undoubtedly be in full meltdown. Hopefully my friend won't get pulled down with her. Helluva maid of honor I am, I haven't spoken to the bride in months, never met the groom... I haven't even seen her dress! Oh, well, hopefully I'll have some fun... and if it gets to intense, I can always go hide.
