Just got off work. I'm really tired. I ran out of steam about halfway through my shift and had to drag myself through the rest of it. Usually I at least get a second wind. I have Friday and Saturday off this week... which practically never happened before. One of the perks of my new position... weekends off and more predictable hours.
I had the day off yesterday. I did the girlie thing and went shopping... actually went around and picked out the things I needed and wanted without worrying about what I was spending. I haven't been able to shop like that in over five years. It was great, 4 new pairs of slacks, a new purse, a new wallet, jewelry (not precious gems or metals, though), scarves, a bunch of stuff to pamper my skin, and then went to Gamestop and bought 6 used DVDs to add to my collection. I had my brother with me, and sent him to get a haircut while I was looking for my clothes. I know being dragged around the Women's section is a 14-year-old boy's worst nightmare. He didn't mind Gamestop nearly as much, though.
