Finally got caught up on sleep... I've been running on about 3 hrs sleep per night for the last couple of weeks. I got my prescription for sleeping pills refilled on Thursday, and now I'm getting solid blocks of sleep instead of half-hour catnaps. I missed my mid-term, not sure if it was lack of sleep, or if I actually had the stomach flu that my Nurse Practitioner diagnosed me with. I know that a lot of stress can really screw up my stomach, so why shouldn't lack of sleep do the trick, too?
Anyway, I spent most of the last week feeling puny... when I first got sick, I was staying at my dad's place so I decided to lay low there. I drove home Thurs. took some sleeping pills as soon as I got home, and passed out for a good 16 hours.
This morning, I discovered that my room was smelling more and more like curdled milk, it was a portion of hamburger helper that had been sitting in my room unrefridgerated for about a week.
Yuk. I stuck it, gladware dish and all in the trash and took it outside, and proceeded to vaccuum and fabreze my room, and light some amber incense. Mmm. Much better. I also got some kitty lovin' today... the neighbors little calico cat was out this afternoon when I went on a caffeine run. She's a sweet little girl and was silky soft. She's skinny, though, I'll have to supplement her diet a little, fill her out with some canned food and treats. Hope she's not sick. I'll keep an eye on her, make sure her condition doesn't get any worse.
I think that one of my roommates is pissed at me. He was kinda short with me this afternoon. Maybe he's stressed. Who knows. Why are men so moody? I also need to set up surveillance on the fridge... someone has been sneaking my milk, and someone else is putting empty ice cube trays back into the freezer. I don't whine about the toilet seat being left up, why do they have to pull that crap on me, to boot?
