Hmmm. I met a bloke the other day who drinks 13 bottles of almost pure caffeine a day.
He doesn't sleep, just falls unconsciouss every few days. Hope he keeps waking up...
I haven't even started the job yet- sure they'll be OK on having selected days off to study, but this is the thing with management jobs- the directors think its gonna be your life.
It isn't.

The swarve ones tend to be up to something.
I always find it quite obvious and it sickens me a. that they do it and b. that women fawn all over them for doing it.
I suppose it works because women can't recognise when a guy is using them as easily as guys can, which is a shame for everyone, except perhaps the swarve user guys.
So I'm glad you give them what they deserve and leave them in the middle of nowhere!!!!
Glad to hear its going good with this guy for you now- sweet is better than swarve!

Thanx for commenting on my set
yeah, Sin city is excellent
I'm tired, but not remotely sleepy. On the upside, I drooled over a few photosets, and joined some new groups. I think I'll keep myself entertained tonight until my brain winds down.

Been staying with my family for the last week or so. I spent Memorial Day weekend with my Mom... thought she might be a little stressed, so I was on guard for a blow-up. Fortunately, though, we got along fine. I spent some time with my Aunt and Grandparents. My Aunt, my brother, and I went to see Over the Hedge- which was funny. I...

They're playing mind games on you. Just watch, no one will admit to moving all your stuff out of the bathroom. Just to screw with your head.
northern:
Well, I guess if they re-caulked the tub, they're forgiven then.
I got into a debate with some family members over religion recently... namely Revelations and the whole DaVinci Code phenomenon. I mentioned that according to some research I'd done the whole concept of the "Rapture" was a fairly recent concept, having been presented to the population by 19th century evangelists and widely accepted during that time period. My Mother glared at me and stated "It's...

Exactly - it was inspired by God, just as equally as all the 'lost' Gospels were.

thanks, and i agree, those dudes/dudettes can REALLY sing! Their voices are out of this world. Local art shows? that rules!!
Can't sleep again. Dammit, brain, shut up!!
northern:
Laugh!
I know that feeling. My mind races when I go to bed. In fact, the more I need to get some sleep, the more it races. As though it's trying to screw me up.
And at least this time, it wasn't my fault for keeping you up, cuz I was in bed early.

Mmm... caffeine and chicken scampi. I'm feeling much happier now.

I'm happy that you're happy.
I haven't had anything to eat today, and I've been up since 7:30. I've been resetting the modem (5x), fiddling with ethernet cords, talking with Tech Support, following around the Technician they sent like a lost puppy while he figured out what the hell the deal was, panicking because of the possibility I'd have to replace my computer
(turned out my computer was NOT the...

aren't computers fantastic? i'm glad I got into them a while back and can typically fix them myself...
it definately saves me from having to call a tech and follow him around like a puppy the way I do when the electricians and cable people show up...

Ummm... maybe, just maybe, you should eat something? Just a suggestion. That would solve the hunger issue, and help with the crankiness.
Of course, a puppy also helps with the crankiness. I guess it could help with the hunger too, if you got really desperate.
Glad you got your computer fixed. Now we can talk again.
Hope you had a nice nap.

Too keyed up to go to bed. Well, I'll give it a second try. Here goes.
northern:
No!
Don't go to bed!!
Don't go to bed!!
I woke up this morning and spent over an hour trying to talk myself out of a panic attack. No, my life isn't horrible, or more stressful than usual. As a matter of fact, I don't have school, so I have even less stress right now than usual. Every few months, it seems, my brain seems to short out and try to send me into...

Whew. Good to hear, cuz I know I ask a lot of them. And sometimes too personal too.
When I like someone, I try to get to know them too well too quickly.
Glad I'm not the only one having problems with the site.

hah, my cat did that too...
I have a portable CD player I use in the car as well. It works alright, except that the little spring that holds the 'door' open is now missing, which makes changing CD's a pain, especially while driving down the highway.
I think I'm going to have a nice cool shower now. Hopefully that'll help a bit too.
