my week....monday i went to work, had a patient who never showed any sign of pain didn't seem like she was getting close to having her baby and then, boom....baby....so I had to catch it, no time for a doc. it was pretty cool.
Tuesday...i had to run errands and stuff an it took all day. didn't even feellike a day off.
Wed....i called in sick because Josie was running a temp and not eating and just in general sick and cranky. let me tell you, staying home with a sick cranky baby....NOT FUN!!!!!!!!
Thurs.....went in to work at 7 am, had an okay day about 6:30 pm baby's heart rate drops and won't come up, had to rush momma back for an emergency c-section. my first true emergency. you hear people talk about they ad to have an emergency c-section, but usually the doctors and nurses know whats going on before it becomes a true emergency, usually they are urgent. Theres time to set up the OR and get momma nice and numb, etc. luckily momma was already numb. anyway, i ended up leaving work at 10 pm. coming home to. you guessed it.....cranky sick baby!
friday....well, i didn't sleep much last night. but i have tomorrow off. YAY!! maybe i will be able to relax for 5 minutes!

p.s. its rainy and pissy here...has been all week....i think. I didn't go out at all yesterday and there are no windows on my floor but it seemed like it was probably crappy out.
oh yeah....even sick baby's are super cute! especially when they clap at you and smile!
